Meall a' Choire Leith (926m/ 3038ft) & Meall Corranaich: (1069m/ 3507ft) 13/10/2008 4 hours
Started the circular walk at the cairn just north of the Lochan na Lairige and crossed over rough moorland and peat hags in a north eastern direction. Crossed the stream Allt Gleann Da-Eig twice and then followed the path up the south west slopes to the summit of Meall a' Choire Leith. Visibility was zero due to the mist. Headed south down the ridge, stopped for lunch and then we continued south west up the ridge to the summit of a very windy but sunny Meall Corranaich. Descended north west over peat bogs and marsh land back to the cairn. We stopped off at the Lawers hotel on the way back for soup and a pint. We also took a visit to the Scottish Crannog centre at the south side of Loch Tay before driving back south via the scenic Glen Quaich.
