Highways June Meet (Glen Lyon)

(12.6.16) Stuchd an Lochain (Glen Lyon) 15km, 4hrs,50 min

Myself & John left the track North of Pubil  bound for Stuchd an Lochain. We headed North up the broad ridge to the top Meall an Odhar then East to the Bealach an Neid where we bumped into Tim. He made his way up Stuchd an Lochain via the East ridge & was heading on to Sron a' Choire Chnapanaich. We made the claggy summit, a new hill for the both of us & John's first Munro in 2 years. We also bumped into Ron at the summit who came up from Loch an Daimh & again on the descent near the Bealach a' Mhaim. We thought about adding on Sron a' Choire Chnapanaich but the rain came on abit heavy & we would probably be rushing for time. Headed back to the bus at Glen Lyon & took a wee detour along the head wall of the dam. Turned out to be a good wee day in the clag.
