(14.6.16) Ben Starav: 12km, 5hrs,48min. 1,055m ascent
Highways bus for June was to Glen Etive. Speaking to John on the bus who hadn’t done Ben Starav so a plan was hatched. Headed the usual way via the bridge over the Etive, along the boggy bridge & up the North ridge. It goes on for abit and levels off before climbing over rocks and boulders to the summit. It was a pretty claggy day so vis was zero. Headed back the same way to the bus.
